I have tried this but to get past my this level for me requires a specific pear of pants/ bottoms....I have bene on this level for at least a week...

@kitkat - Hi yes there is a much cheaper way to get three stars on this level. On the complete list pages (where Ive posted examples for all levels on one page) all levels are listed with little or no cash examples to earn three stars.
